Brutalist Abbots cliff sound mirror

A technical original work of the famous Abbots’s Cliff Sound Mirror, which sits between Folkestone and Dover, Kent, by Jim Moir.

Jim captures the raw elements in this piece by mixing in dirt and chalk, from the site of the Mirror, in his oil paints. It gives this art some great texture and even smells that can only truly be fully appreciated in person (you can click on the image of the work to get a better look at what we’re talking about).

This is a large oil on canvas in a beautiful black and gilded frame.

Framed 42 x 62 (1066 x 1574 mm)
